What a fantastic start to the Winmau WDF Europe Cup Youth 2025 in De Bonte Wever, Assen! After a spectacular opening ceremony, featuring more than 150 players from 26 different countries, the tournament officially kicked off with the boys and girls pairs competitions.

Pairs Semi-Finals Completed
The boys pairs semi-finals delivered some thrilling darts. Aidan O'Hara and Jack Courtney (Republic of Ireland) secured their spot in the final with a solid 4–1 victory over Kazimierz Pawlowski and Franciszek Kalinka (Poland). They’ll be joined by Jack Nankervis and Mason Teese (England), who also won 4–1 in their match against Joseph Flenley and Jenson Ellaway (Wales).

On the girls side, Krisztina Turai and Hanna Rábaközi (Hungary) delivered a flawless performance, not dropping a single leg in their 3–0 win over Iida Lanko and Lara Oravainen (Finland). In the second semi-final, Yazmine Havard-Ruck and Abbie Brewster (Wales) held their nerve to edge out Fardau de Jong and Kimberly Kersbergen (Netherlands) in a close 3-2 battle.

That wraps up an exciting first day in Assen. We’ll see all four pairs back on stage this Saturday to battle it out for the Winmau WDF Europe Cup Youth 2025 titles!
